WHAT I WORE:
A few of us went dancing at Tao afterwards. So fun!

So, we are at day two of my fun Vegas Trip back in Decemeber. We went shopping all day and of course lunch at Max Brenners. I love that place so much! Shopping wore us out so I took a power nap and then got up to get ready for the night!
The party bus picked us up for a very fun ride to the Palazzo….

and WHAT I WORE…
So it’s two months later and I’m finally getting around to posting about my Vegas trip…I know! I’m such a slacker. I’ve been so busy! No excuses…ok here it is.
It was so fun! We went down for Flagship’s work party and a few of us drove down together that Friday morning. I always think it’s kind of fun to carpool because you look forward to it more and you get to all catch up outside of work. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan, which was gorgeous and I have never stayed there before. (You can see a small glimpse of the room below). We got there and took a little breather and then started getting ready for the night. First, we hit up Holsteins for dinner and then went to Zarkana for our Cirque show!
Just hanging out in our room before getting ready.
Dinner at Holsteins. They have the best burgers ever! I opted for the lobster rolls and I was not sorry at all! Such a great choice! I highly recommend going there! Not to fancy, but definitely a really fun, chill place to eat!
A few photos of all the girls dressed up before we went to the show. (Rachel, Kristin, Ashley, Alliesha, me, Myleka, Ally, Amy, Kendra.)
Alliesha and I before Zarkana!
Zarkana! This show was different than other ones I’ve been to, but it was really good. It was like a magic show almost, with funny little acts in between. Each big act was like a magic element with circque performers doing these amazing stunts. Like for example, this girl came out juggling all kinds of numbers of balls, but balancing on things…while tons of other performers were going on around her at the same time…so it’s not just your normal juggling act of course. And there is humor too. It was good.
My friend, Teesh.
What I Wore…
This is one my favorite dresses that I have ever bought…maybe actually my favorite. I love it! It was so sparkly and so fun! Perfect for Vegas, and perfect for a party. I actually wore it again on New Years because I loved it so much.
“Because it’s the halves that halve you in half. I didn’t know, don’t know, about the in-between bits; the gory bits of you, and the gory bits of me.” – Like Crazy
These are my 5 facts for that thing going around instagram:
1. I love crime shows. Law and order, csi, criminal minds…you name it. And i live alone. It’s actually dumb. This is why I have decided I need to buy a gun.
2. I probably have more than 50 colors of nail polish but I still get suckered into buying more every time I got to the store.
3. I danced for 18 years, mostly ballet, and I really really miss it.
4. I graduated in exercise science from byu (which is basically pre-med) and I’m not doing anything with it currently…I used to be smartish. If I could be anything I would be a country singer, but that’s not gonna happen so…I would love to be a Heart surgeon but let’s get real on that too…maybe an interior decorator or a party planner?
I think I posted these before, but I love them! My Julie Vos Elephant Bangle and Ring from baublebar!
My friends are the best! Cheering me up 🙂
Just a comfy day 🙂
Outfit from the snow the other day.
It’s been a long time since all of us have been together! Girls from the dorms in college! Great night 🙂
Just hanging out with Jess visiting from Cali. Miss you!
Now on vine! Trying it out!
I love my new Sorels, and I have been getting to wear them a LOT since we have been getting tons of snow (kind of to my dismay). While the snow may seem really pretty…it is WAY TOO COLD for me. Kale seems to love it though.
The temperatures have been in the single digits or below zero and I cannot handle that. It makes me just want to stay in bed with tons of blankets on. It’s so hard to get in my car and go to work in the morning!
We decided to get bundled up and brave the weather last Saturday though and hang out with Jake up in Midway. We went to lunch and made a makeshift sled behind his horses. Check out some of the pictures below for the fun!
Coat – Anthropologie (old – Similar here); Sweater – Madewell (sold out online); Shirt – Just a Cheap Shirt (old); Leggings – J.Crew; Beanie – B.P. Nordstrom (old); Boots – Sorel; Gloves – Soel Boutique.
Then Jake and Ryan tied a shovel to the back of the sleigh and let the horse pull him around the homestead.
Jake took his turn being the horse for a while.
Someone’s tired out.
My cute Christmas owls and feathers from West Elm, but I’m considering keeping them out all year long.

Riding the train to Sale Lake with our friends!
I told him it would get stuck. He thought it was hilarious.
Yes, that is a shovel tied to a sleigh. Hey whatever works right? He also thought this was hilarious.
Kale has decided to learn his ninja skills from Jillian Michaels kickboxing DVDs.
