Libby testified against her brother to put him away for life when she was 7 for the murders of her mother and her two sisters; the murders that came to be known as “The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas.” Now 25 years later, The Kill Club, a society that is obsessed with famous crimes and murders, has convinced Libby that maybe her brother wasn’t after all the murderer that night. At first she hatches a plan that she will re-visit key players from the time period for the club, for a fee in return, but she soon becomes entangled in their stories and isn’t so sure that her testimony of that night was correct.
I could not put this book down. Gillian Flynn is a really dark writer, but she totally sucks you in. I love her. Read this and her other books. You can see my little reviews on Gone Girl and Sharp Objects by clicking their links.
