On my trip home to California I got to shoot with Jordan Zobrist again and this time we went to downtown LA to shoot in the fashion district. Hi…dying! I loved it! I can’t wait to go out again when I have time to do some visits!
But, I have to tell you about Token Jewelry Designs because I’m just a little bit obsessed. All of the pieces are perfect for layering and it’s one of my favorite summer styles. I love layering fun jewelry in the summer when it’s not going to be covered up by sweaters and jackets! I can’t even pick my favorite piece because they’re all so unique and different! And guess what! They are giving my readers a discount!

I have been waiting and waiting for weather warm enough to wear this cute little dress from Cleobella. While the weather has gotten better it’s still not quite warm enough 🙁 BUT it’s now on sale so I figured I better post it in case you all wanted to snag it while you can! It reminds me of California so I also think it would be perfect to pick up if you are thinking about going to Coachella or planning a fun beach vacation!

So you may think I’m in some fabulous European Garden, but I’m not! I was just in California! How gorgeous is this though right?
I can’t wait to actually be able to wear maxi dresses and sandals again! This one from Pree Brûlée is perfect for a sunny day or a cover-up at the beach! It has a beautiful tribal print across the bottom that I am in love with and it just flows! Dress – c/o Pree Brulee; Sandals – Sam Edelman (old – similar here, here and here); Necklace – c/o Pree Brulee
Have you noticed how big 70’s style is getting again? Fringe, suede, and paisley prints like this dress are everywhere! Boohoo was the perfect store to shop for this trend. Tons of items and all at crazy affordable prices!! What’s your favorite 70’s style?
I love this cute tee that I got from GroopDealz! It’s so light and summery, not to mention lists everything you need for the perfect summer day! It’s also long enough to double as a swim cover-up which I have also used it for on a few occasions!
Hi guys! I finally started shooting again and I’m so glad. I feel a lot better and I’m getting back on track with everything. So last time I filled you in I think I told you that I went to get x-rays because I was having really bad chest pain. Well, I ended up getting a lung infection too…so more antibiotics. It also made (and still makes) me really tired because it’s hard to breathe and doing normal things just wears me out. I went to my doctor this last week though and he said both of the infections look like they are getting better. It’s just going to take time until I feel all the way better. I definitely feel WAY better than the last few weeks and I finally finish all of my antibiotics tomorrow!
I wanted to share this amazingly gorgeous blouse from Johnny Was Clothing with you today. Their embroidery is my favorite part, which is all created from scratch by their designers. They gather their inspiration from all over the world. The ‘Sakura Poncho’ that I am wearing was inspired by a Japanese painting that the head designer loves. This is the perfect top for summer because it is loose, flowy, light, and the colors used in the embroidery are beautiful. It’s just like wearing art.
I also have to tell you about the Claire Bucket Bag I’m carrying from Ora Delphine. The shape is totally on trend right now, and I love the side zippers for quick access to on-the-go items. The leather is incredible soft, so you can just cinch it and go! You should also check out the other colors, and their other styles! I love this brown because it’s so versatile, but they have some great stand out colors.
Last, but not least, the last week or so my headaches finally went away, so I was able to do a lot of reading. I posted them below, but take a look at some of my recent reads! I highly recommend Paper Towns, by John Green and I’m really interested to see the movie now. I heard the ending is a lot different than the book so I need to go see is asap! I just started Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay, but here are some of the other ones I finished: Gathering Blue by Lois Lowery, Divergent by Veronica Roth, and a quick fun mystery, The Melody Lingers On by Mary Higgins Clark.
The second I saw this dress I knew that I had to have this for the fourth of July. I know that you probably actually think more Cinco de Mayo when you first see it, but that holiday had already past, and the bright red just got me! I love it so much! (It does also come in a white color though if red isn’t your thing!) I’m pretty sure I’ll be wearing it this weekend, so I apologize if you see way too many pictures of it.
The Fourth of July is pretty much my favorite holiday! I love that it’s in the middle of the summer. I love the fireworks. I love that everyone gets together and eats hot dogs. Haha. I hope you all have a great fourth! Go USA!
Remember when I told you that Tai Pan Trading has the most amazing pieces for summer? Umm look at this gorgeous dress! I love it so much! I love all the colors and the embroidery! The best part is that it’s totally affordable!
Also, I am wearing more jewelry from JES Design Studio. Both of these necklaces are from her etsy shop! JES Design Studio specializes in unique, quality handmade jewelry. They are made from beautiful raw and semi precious stones with various metals and vintage components.
