Pampered at Pureza Spa

Last week I was able to attend a fabulous event at Pureza Salon and Medi Spa at the Riverwoods in Provo, Utah. I got super spoiled and was able to try out a few of their services and I’m definitely hooked now! First of all, walking into the salon was very relaxing. It’s clean and modern, but leaves a lasting impression. I loved the design. I hate when you go somewhere and it’s too busy and distracting. I loved Pureza’s layout. It creates a great atmosphere to get ready to relax! My first service was a facial, which I absolutely loved!

photo 3-46I received the Glyco Express facial. I felt like my face was just really clean and purified afterwards. It felt really cleansing while I was getting it as well. I would get this over and over. The product below (The Gylco Extreme Peel) is an at home method that they sell in the salon, which is similar to the facial, so you can do it at home! I love this, but I kind of also just like having someone else do it for me and getting to take a break, so I would totally recommend this facial! The next few days after my treatment, I felt like my face just had a little extra glow to it.

The second product below, was what they put on my face after the facial. It’s basically like a tinted moisturizer than matches your skin tone when you rub it in. It’s a little bit pricey, but I also loved this product and a little bit goes a long way.

Next, I got to get my makeup done, which is always fun! I never feel like I’m very good at doing my own, so I always love having other people do my hair and makeup. At Pureza, they use Frankie Rose Cosmetics, which is very lightweight, which I liked. I don’t wear a lot of foundation, so this was great for me. I believe Pureza is the only Salon in Utah to sell their products. Pureza does a full range of makeup applications, for fun, photo shoots, bridal, and lashes!

Then, I got a blowout! Yes, Pureza offers a full hair salon as well! I loved my blowout because it will last for days if you want it to! I think one of my favorite things is having someone else wash and dry my hair. It’s one of the most relaxing things to me ever! My hair turned out so beautiful! (Sorry the pictures are so dark, I only took my cell phone!)

Thank you to La Jolla Groves for catering. If you haven’t eaten there, you have to. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Provo! It’s the cutest little place, decorated with lemon trees inside of the dining room. My favorites are the Beef Tenderlion Sandwhich and the Mushroom Ravioli!

I definitely will be back to Pureza soon! It’s a beautiful salon and I loved every treatment I received! Very professional and relaxing!

    1. I got invited to this one, but a lot of times you can find out about them on Facebook groups! are you in Utah?

  1. That sounds like fun. I have never been to a spa. I have always done at home treatments, but being pampered, oh yes, I could go for some of that.
